NAF
The Human Resources Office (HRO) is designated to administer the NAF personnel program. There are two types of employment categories for NAF positions, Regular and Flexible.
- Flexible category employees: Work schedules that depend on the need of the activity. These employees may work anywhere from 0-40 hours per week.
- Regular category employees: Have regular work schedules between 20 and 40 hours per week depending on the position.

CPO
The Civilian Personnel Office (CPO) is designated to act as a liaison between the Air Force Personnel Center and civilian personnel at JBER, Alaska. CPO provides assistance for current and prospective civilian employees in a wide variety of areas. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Staffing
- Classification
- Employee and Labor Relations
- Priority Placement Program Enrollment
- Voluntary Leave Transfer Program Enrollment
- Job Fairs
